i.Machine
i.Machine
The form that deforms and transforms.
A work driven by the force of contemporary dance and the movement of the human body in its relationship with machines, technology and the flow of digital information. A work that will leave your skin exposed. It is a process of research and creation exploring the relationship between the somatic and the political in the digital age. It is also an interactive installation for all audiences that dissolves the artist–spectator divide.
One of our most ambitious projects, it brings four installations onto the stage, interacting with one another and with the character. The installations form a single character: the machine in each of its facets, feeding on and confronting its creator, the human, in different ways—dependent on its existence, yet fearful of its domination.
I.Machine
The movement of the human body in its relationship with machines.
i.Machine is a process of research and creation exploring the relationship between the somatic and the political dimensions of the body in the digital age: an interactive instal-acción that reveals a changing rhythm of tensions between the organic body and the machine body.
A reflection on the constant tension between the creator and their tools, rejecting all nostalgia for the past and projection into the future, and exposing the shortcomings of the theory of the body’s usefulness and its evolutionary flow.
A work consisting of four interactive installations in which the artist–spectator divide dissolves.
